TV streaming sites and proxies?

I seriously am pissed off right now. I ranted about how sucky Australian television is, but now they've cut the only interesting show and moved the only basketball game of the week from 10:00 PM to 11! So now its unwatchable! not to mention that the newest shows we get are from 2008-09...
Basically, does anyone have any sites which stream satellite television from overseas countries and actually work? Inner-live.com doesn't work, SatelliteDirect is a total scam, and Netflix isn't helpful either...
EDIT: I think asking for proxies would conflict with the site's piracy laws, so I removed it. =)
Thank you. On a more positive note, my parents have allowed me to buy NBA LeaguePass so at least that's sorted out...
