Hi guys,
My birthday is coming up on May 20th and I didn't really think to much about what I wanted. A party was the last thing that went through my head.
In the car this morning, my mom said AND I QUOTE!
"I was going to throw you a surprise party, but I think you wouldnt like it."

At the exact moment I cried my eyes out because I have always wanted a suprise party! It would have been really fun too! Ive wanted a suprised party since i was 5! And i always told myself to wait and one day o would get it.But now I guess I'm not having one I'm still crying right now... And even if I did throw a regular party, now the thought of having a suprise party would make the regular one not as fun....

So my question is... Now what should I do?

your mom could be just trying to trick you, make you think your not getting a surprise party and well surprise lol

Well, if that's what she did, then I wish she didn't because now I would be expecting it... Anyways. Maybe some ASTRO by stuff, or anything fun you could think of?

Dang you got the same birthday as my Daddy! How old are yhou turning? My birthday is coming soon too. I'm turning 17 on June 30th. Yikes! Soon I'll be old enough to see R rated movies. XD

I'm turning 14! One more year and I get my learners permit!!!

Well! I'm having an ASTRO boy birthday cake! Thing is, I don't kno what picture I'm going to use!!!! hmy: :d oh: do any of you have pictures???

Blue, I hope you have a GREAT birthday. I've never had a surprise party once in my life, and most of my birthday parties were mostly come, eat the cake, and leave. I hope that doesn't happen to you. And i'll give you one tip. You'll only be 14 once in your life, So take care, and live as happily as you can. And for the cake.... you could just make it white, and add some of Astro's ``spikes´´ on 2 sides of the cake, and add the details at the center of it. Best of luck.

I hope you have a great birthday BlueCore! Having an Astro Boy birthday cake sounds awesome. You should do that! Maybe hire a cake expert or order a custom.
I don't really know much about parties. Sorry about that. When there are three teenage girls in the house you don't do much about them. And now that my jerk cousin has moved in, its going to be worse. All Summer Birthdays! Geez! :d oh:
What I tend to do for my birthday (I don't know anyone else who does this) is that I simply ask that the whole family doesn't have to do any chores (excluding essentials) or go anywhere like the movies (I don't like going to see movies. Actually I don't watch TV either ). That way I can sit around and play video games and be on my laptop. This year I'll test if I can have my cousin stay at his friends house or something so he leaves me alone. It that works, I'll add it to the list!

I recommend brownies rather than cake, as they always have more flavor. I myself do not understand why people wand elaborately decorated cakes, all they do is cut them up, & eat them.
