Well if any of you live in the US and watch the non-local news then you may know about the fires resently in Colorado. There has been three fires in the past month, 2 major ones. The first one burnt like 8,000 acres I think but this one is the worst. In just a couple days it has gone from 200 acres to 14,000 with still 0% compassity. I know there isn't much you can do, but could you guys at least wish for rain or something. My friends and I are really worried for our houses and lives.

I feel where your coming from. I live in Florida and usually we have fires all the time and some are close to my house. So I'm always worried. So I give you my prayers and wishes!

You got my prayers, too!! That's so scary -- and it's weird, because we've been getting SO MUCH RAIN!!
I also heard there were really bad fires in New Mexico...

Thank you guys

. Its 20,000 acres now. Thats bigger then the city of Boulder. We have been getting losts of rain too, but it isn't helping. I should look up the New Mexico fires. EDIT! OMG My friends' neighbor's property is burning and they haven't even left yet because no one has told them to evacuate!

I hope the rain and the firefighters get this thing under control soon, before much more damage happens.

My thoughts and prayers are with you GLAB.
I live not too far from where the New Mexico fire is right now, though I'm not in harm's way. Currently, the fire has burnt about 26,000 acres of mountain forest. As GLAB said, there have been some bad fires within the past month; the one near me has been going on for about a week. The skies around here have been kind of hazy and you can smell the smoke sometimes in the air.
If you want to see images of it, look up "Little Bear Fire". Pretty bad stuff.

@diehard67: Me too
@Shiyonasan: As do mine to you.
Wow thats big. The High Park Fire here has been going on for like 4-3 days and it has already consumed over 20,000 acres. You can smell smoke in the air here too and the skies have turned to a weird orange gray tent. At one point my friend and I said "It looks like the sky has a black eye and a massive tan"
Yes I looked it up. Some of the pictures look like a mushroom cloud after a huge explosion :C. I hope they get it under controll soon.

I really don't have much to offer, except my hope that the fires will stop soon. Fires are never nice.
