TCM has occasionally shown film series with films in sequence on certain days of the week; usually Saturday. On 9/01, three will start:

 1. at 9:00 AM THE THUNDERBIRDS, & next week, THUNDERBIRDS 6 also at 9:00. Sylvia & Gerry Anderson, who also made SPACE 1999 & UFO, made several animated puppet shows, this is one that has films.
 2. At 10:45 AM, THE WHISTLER film series starts. I have seen only the 1st film thus far, & wait for the whole series. I believe this is a mystery series.
 3. At 12 noon, JUNGLE JIM series plays its 1st installment. Johnny Weissmuller, who became famous for portraying Tarzan, moved to another studio, & continued with jungle-oriented films. TCM has already run the Tarzan series recently, then continued with the BOMBA series, which used the actor who portrayed 'Boy' in the Tarzan films, as the title character. Now, the JJ film series begins.

Anyway, I am not too interested in the THUNDERBIRDS, but the other two, I expect to enjoy thoroughly.

i JUST watched the JJ movie, & while from the water's surface, a crocodile was attacking a woman swimmer, beneath the surface, a tentacle was wrapped around her!  :hyo:

I could not bear to watch the TBs, but the Whistler was great!

My point was

 1. the inconsistency of the croc on the surface, & the tentacles below it
 2. and, also, the strangeness of a squid in a lake, rather than the sea.

I assume your comment is on sex content.

I just wonder, if, perhaps, Tezuka ever saw this film?

This object of worship is the centerpiece of THE LOST TRIBE's temple, & bears a strong resemblance to the one in STOLEN SUN! :p The Lost Tribe (1949) may have had nothing to do with the design of the stolen sun, but it is amusing to not the similarities.
