14 December 2012...heart broken.

All I can say right now is that...my heart is broken. My Christmas is a little empty, a little dimmed and less than half happy...
20 parents should not have to have a Christmas without their little ones!
Lord...I ask tonight for your aid for we are in need of your love to get us from the dark in which we sit tonight.

Well said, Dannavy.
My bff's sister in law lives in Newtown, and she was working with the principal on a project. When I heard the news I ran to the phone to call her - thankfully her nieces are both out of elementary school. But still, the sheer horror of such an act. God bless those poor little angels, and comfort their heartbroken families.

One of the saddest things that can occur in life is when a parent has to have Christmas knowing that a child has just died. The death of a child is truly painful, but having it occur before Christmas only makes the wound even more sore and such wounds never really heal.

I know, I can only imagiene how those parents must feel. Heck, it makes me enraged every time I see them talking about it on the news these past few days.
All I can say is, I hope something good comes out of this. Both for the victims families, and for American society as a whole.

i agree with you all. i feel bad about what happened to those kids & staff at that school, i hope that time will help heal everybody. it's really sad, they were all probably had plans & gifts...
