my friend's husband just died this right before her graduation, her & i r in the same graduating class
& one of my kittens drowned in the waterdish, tried 2 save it but was too late... my friend loved those kittens too...

Sorry to hear of this, Solarcat. A co-worker of mine was killed last weekend - it's a strange feeling even when you aren't personally close to the deceased. I hope you can focus on being there for your friend during this trying time!

My wife's friend just lost a dog and a cat to old age. I really liked that cat.
Now your story makes me even sadder. I'm sorry for your lose and your friend's.
