Why did they have to kill off Arthur on Merlin?
What a bummer!

Isn't that how the story is though? Doesn't Arthur die while fighting with his son Mordred? I can't remember because the last time I had anything to do with the legend of King Arthur was in high school almost a decade ago.

I'm not sure. The problem is in the legend Merlin was an old man, not a boy. I thought they were showing an earlier part of the story, but maybe the take was that Merlin was a boy that appeared as an old man.

BTW, I had a weird idea for an Astro crossover story involving THIS one in the manor of Mark Twain.

I've actually never seen Meriln to be honest, I don't watch too much TV. So maybe they were trying to make it fresh for a newer audience or something along those lines.

Anything having anything to do with Mark Twain is instantly great to me. I love Mark Twain and his sarcastic and ironic way of storytelling.

Then you are probably familiar with "A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's court" Make it "Astro in King Arthur's court". I've got a leg up here, the Astro in my story has a built in flux capacitor.......
