ANYONE EVER got a compliment that was absolutely so sweet but world changing in a way!? I DID and want to be so worthy and I just love him for thinking so much of me! PLEASE tell me of your ultimate compliment you receive! IF you want will tell you about mine- it was so sweet but awesome responsibility when you receive such a compliment!

I was told twice last week I drive like a maniac. And a friend told me if I was to offer to be the designated driver for a night out, he would take his chances with a drunk driver

Reminds me of the time that I got caught in a crosswind, over corrected, came down with too high a rate of decent and bounced off the runway almost onto the taxiway. I luckily managed avoid ground looping the Citabria, but it was a pretty embarrassing landing to say the least, probably my second worst landing ever. Oh, and my sister was in the back seat at the time. (The worst landing I remember every making was when I came down too hard doing a wheel landing and managed to slice a small piece of the runway with the prop! Luckily on THAT one I didn't damage the prop or the engine, thanks to the tarmac being so soft due to the hot sun. But there was a good telltale hunk of tar stuck to one blade of the prop!)

Anyway, on that first one I got "invited" up to the tower for a talk with the FAA controller. Someone later told me they probably wanted to see if I was drunk at the time I made that landing!

I was once told that I have a cute sneeze.
It wasn't "world changing" , but it was definitely one of the more interesting compliments I've gotten.

Haha, this is quite the interesting thread. I was actually at a summer program for the past two weeks, and this guy kept randomly nicknaming people, and I happened to end up being "The Boss" even though we hadn't spoken two words to each other until then. I asked him why I had that nickname and he told me it was because I "look executive." Frankly, I am the least executive person I know, but it was still an interesting compliment nonetheless. xD

The only compliments I usually get are from men twice my age or frat boys trying to 'pick me up'. I did get a compliment in high school though from my science teacher who said "Angela, you're either going to save the world or utterly destroy it."

Not sure how to take that to this day. I think he was talking about my generation in general but he was eccentric.
