Tezuka really has been blessed to have so many of his amazing series animated (either at his own hands or at others), however still there are many that have not graced the animation screen.
Which titles do you think should be animated in the future and why?

Was Buddha ever animated? I'm not sure about that. I don't think Adolf ever was, and that would be a good one.

Buddha 2 is coming out in February.

My absolute most-wanted would be Zero-Man and The Devil Garon. Though the latter got a short film recently, which is awesome except there's no way to see it. Oh, and I'd love a new adaptation of Nextworld that stays truer to the original character designs and updates it in a big way like Metropolis did.

Well if we were talking OVA series, I'd like to see Apollo's Song adapted. It's such a different yet enveloping work that I could see it working in an OVA format. Plus, it would finally give me an excuse to see my favourite chapter from Apollo (the Queen Meeva story arc) in animated form.
If we were talking tv series, then I'd like to see Rainbow Parakeet. I've never read the manga, but from what I do know about him, he seems like enough of a fascinating character that he could probably hold his own show for at least 26 or 50 episodes.

Speaking of Garon, in how many places did he appear? He was in one or two of the Astroboy animes, and he was also in the Three Eyed One as well. Probably a few more.

Garon appears as a yakuza boss in vol 2 of
White Pilot.

He appeared in an episode of Jetter Mars, too, I think.

I think every single Tezuka animation has a cameo of someone from another series or even Tezuka himself.

I do not recall seeing any in Triton of the Sea, Earthshine. It was the only disappointing thing about that series.

And not even character recycled designs? Wow. I have not been able to see this series to be honest.
