I'm going to San Francisco for about two weeks starting on Monday...

What should I do? What should I see? I've never been to California.

Have a wonderful time!! I've never been there either, but anyone I know who has been there LOVES it! The food - any kind you can think of - is fabulous.

If you happen to pass Grace Cathedral (Episcopal), there's a "it's a small world" story connected to it. Back in the early 1900's the priest from Grace Church (in Middletown NY) was transferred to Grace Church in San Francisco.

Then came the great earthquake, and Father David Evans ran into the crumbling structure to save what he could. Out of the rubble he led the effort to build Grace Cathedral, and many people from his former church in Middletown sent money and supplies to help.

A century later, Grace Church in Middletown got a new priest who was ordained at - yup - Grace Cathedral! I love stuff like that!

The Fisherman's Wharf was pretty interesting from what I remember of it. I'd recommend that.

I've only been to San Fransisco and California once, which was back in 2007. Admittedly, I don't remember San Fransisco too well.
