Actually he's not here but Trashcan is. Boy there are a lot of famous robots in this picture. Maybe someone could photoshop Astro, Uran and other friends onto this image.

LOL! I think it has the robot-cat version of Tom from that episode of Tom and Jerry when Tom built a robotic cat to catch Jerry and then Jerry bought a rocket-mouse to thwart the plans!

Very interesting compilation.

They probably left him out because he's too humanoid. If you look at all of these they all are very hexagonal and have a traditional robotic frame. If Atom was put in there he would probably stand out.

Yeah I guess. What other robots look very humanoid? Well Data from STTNG, Hymie the control robot, The Positronic man (in the end), oh and the robot from the original Alien movie.

Hey I just thought of another robot they left out. The Iron Giant! only he was so big, he wouldn't fit!

Hmm you're right. There's the Terminator Robot as well I think.

Well there goes that theory.

Does the Tin-man really count as a robot? He was more like a scrap of metal.

A piece of scrap metal with a soul (but no heart apparently!).

I honestly don't think Baum put much thought into the Tin Man being anything but a Tin Man so I guess it is debatable if he counts as a robot.

Does the line between robot and... tin man... cross with an electrical current maybe?

Exactly. He was just metal, no circuit board, wires, glowing red eyes lol. He was the shell of a heartless soul. To the junk yard! :d evil:

Never thought of him to be a robot anyway, even though I do like him.
