Um, does anyone now who Dr. Black Jack lived with after his mother passed away? I need some information for Kaze Ni Naru (To those who don't know, Kaze Ni Naru is an Astro Boy / Black Jack crossover doujinshi between the animated film The Borrower Arrietty and one of my original mangas, "Kazenoya". Volume One of the fanfic version will soon be up on FanFiction.net in a few months) on what might have happened when he was a teenager.

Did the manga ever mention who he lived with after the explosion? Here in Taiwan we don't get all of the episodes, so I honestly have no idea who raised him as a teenager.

So....does anyone know?

It was Dr. Honma who raised him as a teenager. He was only raised by his mother (and possibly father.) as a kid, but was only with them through half of his childhood.

Dr. Honma raised him as a teenager. (Didn't you watch like, the first episode of Black Jack 2004 series before?)

There was also an episode of his teen years along with a childhood friend as well, though it wasn't Rock. Rock was only in the Manga (70s) and ONA series (2002)

Too bad Tezuka DVDs are as rare as heck in Taiwan.

You might be able watch it on Viki anime, but I think they removed it there since you can buy the DVD sets on Anime Sols.

Or, you can try waoanimetv. Not sure if they are still up cause they don't seem to work on my laptop, but you can always try.
