Because I've been updating them so much lately. Ugh. I wonder if Tezuka ever had a headache changing his half-finished manga story plots before. I bet he did. It must have taken a lot of thinking, changing the plot of "Captain Atom" to "Tetsuwan Atomu".

Anyway, about my plot changes, I will post them on this thread and this thread only.

I've decided to swap Mikuko's surname and a few of her personality traits wityh her creator Makoto's. In other words, Makoto will become Makoto Kazama abnd Mikuko will have a new surname. Makoto will have a more importabt role in the story.

For my original idea, Makoto died in an accident in the first place, but I changed my mind. I can't see why the guardians / parents of important characters have to be dead. Must be Tezuka influence:

1. Sharaku Hosuke is an orphan
2. So is Melmo
3. So is Kuro Hazama
4. Tobio's mother Hoshie died in the first place

So I've decided I'm not killing Makoto off.

No. I've been re-writing my character scripts and these are the following changes on Mikuko and Makoto:

1. I decided to make Mikuko the robot look like a school-age child again. She may not be a major role but Kanato Misaku's school just wouldn't be the same without her.

2. Makoto will be the one working in the cafe.

3. I swapped Mikuko and Makotos' personalities. Now Mikuko is the outgoing, cheerful one while Makoto is the serious and slightly coldfaced one.

4. Mikuko, though being created by Makoto, will not share her surname or be Makoto's "younger sister". Makoto is Makoto Kazama and Mikuko will have another surname, she will live with the family who adopted her.

5. Mikuko will have two robot siblings.

6. Makoto is a grownup and an ordinary person; Mikuko is a robot in the form of a junior high school student. They have opposite personalities but get along okay, though Mikuko and her siblings annoy Makoto at times.

7. Mikuko still won't have any "special robotic powers" compared to Atomu.

8. Makoto never has any love interests. Mikuko, on the other hand, has a slight crush on a boy in her class. But the story will not be focused on this.

9. Keep in mind that none of these characters are my self-insert into the story. My self in the series is a Taiwanese manga artist named "Kuo-Yi" who appears only as often as Tezuka does in his series - once in a long, long while, just to explain stuff to the readers like a narrator.

Mikuko the Robot - She looks like a junior high school student

- Makoto has a relative who is alive and younger than her; he has a girlfriend and is engaged. He and Makoto get along pretty well.
- Makoto did not create Mikuko all by herself, a friend helped out a little.
- Mikuko is outgoing, but most of her friends are out of school. Makoto appears not an easy person to talk to and a little careless with an overly cool attitude towards people, but in truth she is slightly shy. It is not revealed in the manga series though.
- Mikuko has two robot siblings, she is the middle child. She and her siblings do not live with Makoto but a friend of hers.

I decided to change the title "Kaze no Ya 風の屋" into "風の茶店 / 風の茶屋". (I'm still picking the most suitable kanji...)

The second to last kanji looks good.

Did you mean 風の茶店 or 風の茶屋? Sorry, remember that English isn't my native language.

BTW is my signature picture okay-sized now? Ugh, now there are just three characters left!
