Real Life Stories/Events that make or have made You Cry

Back in either August or Septwmber of 2013 I was taking my first driver's training class. And for all of us that have gone to these know the tragic accidents that come from driving immature.
Right now I'm thinking back to a few stories in particular that made me cry then.. and that I'm crying about right now.
...
A man named Mr. Mole had come to speak to us about not multi-tasking while driving. He told us a story of two girls; two friends.
So the girls' neighbourhood was throwing a party and they were asked to pick up supplies, which they were. While in their way home, they were laughing and listening to some music when a semi truck comes out of no where. The girl driving tried to evade it, but the passenger side of the car scrapped against the side of the semi, crushing her friend's skull like an egg.
The girl whose skull had been crushed was Mr. Mole's daughter. Everyone had know and loved her. She was an amazing girl and had such a great, GREAT future ahead of her. But she died. And though not her fault, her friend lives with guilt of "killing her".
(After class I went over to Mr. Mole and gave him a hug. I told him how sorry I was, even if it did happen years ago. That hit me really hard.)
...
A young woman had always dreamed of being a singer since she was young. She had an amazing voice.
One day while driving (I forget where), she got in a terrible accident and had to go through a very complex surgery. After the surgery, her dreams for being a singer were crushed bexause of what people look for in a singer today: beauty.
(This made me think of how stupidly judgemental some people are. It made me cry to hear her say this. I just felt so bad for her.)
