Possibly going to Animate this Summer

Depending on how good my grades are at the end of the year (and if my brother is nice enough), I may be able to get an animating program on my older brother's computer! :)
I'm thinking of doing trailers for my fanfictions (which I will also work on this Summer) as well as trailers for books that I have read and books I would like to make.

Any other ideas? :)

That's pretty neat! I hope things go fabulously for you.

Maybe you could even make a 'fanime'.

The term fanime is loosely defined as an amateur animation in the style of anime.

I'd like to animate something too! I tried last year, but I don't have the best equipment so I never finished.

The last time I animated something was way back in high school when I wanted to be an animator. My school actually had an animation class and we used Macromedia software to make flash animations and games. It was really fun and easy. I miss that program.

Oh! That reminds me of about two years ago! So here in Michigan somewhere between Holland and Grand Haven there's a building called the Career Line Tech Center.
So two years ago during the summer I went there for two weeks, a different class each day. And I remember, and still have, a maze game we made using Microsoft Powerpoint!

There is open source software for this (IE: Free as in beer). Blender is a very nice animation and 3D drawing package. Lots of tutorials on line and in youtube. Check it out.
