ROBOTS & MORALITY

Hm, as researchers work on physical & intellectual systems for robots, other scientists are developing ethical systems:

Scientists try to teach robots morality (GIZMAG)

So, soon we may be seeing real world applications of problems Asimov wrote about. A robot will toss a coin and decide whether to help or hurt. :hyo:

That doesn't seem very beneficial to real-world applications but it's a start in the progress of AIs.

It is not very useful and might be a bad idea, but people can dream. No matter the possible outcome, people will try anyway.

It's only a start in the progress in the way that it's a stepping stone to figuring out a better AI, in actual practice I can only see a detrimental outcome.
