How do I Report a Website of Illegal Activity?

Postby Earthshine » 11 years ago

There's this website I know that I used to frequent but now do not due to the atmosphere being pretty toxic. However things improved a little bit and I became a little more active but then the website became a massive piracy ring for pretty much everything.

How do I report this?

I'd tell you to contact the RIAA or the MPAA, but I despise them for their their gestapo Nazi tactics.

They will probably get the site closed down

What you could do is to choose one of the pirated franchises (maybe they are pirating Tezuka stuff too) and report them to the appropriate organization (Tezuka Productions for example). They may be willing to warn the website before proceeding to legal artillery, but it will likely end up in the hands of the 2 already mentioned organizations anyway.
The real sign that someone has become a fanatic is that he completely loses his sense of humor about some important facet of his life. When humor goes, it means he's lost his perspective.

I did a search and found the proper steps to report them. So far they have literally distributed hundreds of anime and movie titles as well as some games so almost every major organization has been stolen from.
