GAMING MICE

For the longest time, I used xp, & it worked with Kensington MOUSEWORKS, which gave my trackball programmable buttons that could do just about anything. Yet, W7 does not support MOUSEWORKS, & Kensington dropped most of the features I wanted with later versions. Thus, I am wanting a gaming mouse that:
A gaming trackball is preferred.
edit: also, at least a 15 ft range for wireless.
- has buttons that can emulate click with keyboard combinations
- has different profiles for different apps
- can insert text with click
- has enough programmable buttons to allow all my favorite things, I suppose 7 would be adequate
