I do not know where I heard/read that the Japanese fixation / obsession with the pantie shots originated with Uran. Anyway, after digging up a few images of Peter Pan, for some other topic, I realized just how often Tinkerbell's panties were shown. She rolls head-over heels, bends over, etc., & there they are! But after watching the Disney animated films on TCM last week, those fairies were 100% naked, clothed with nothing more than the fact that they were tiny. :d evil:

Maybe it all started with those Coppertone billboards?

Or maybe we, as a collective society, can stop thinking about and discussing Uran's underwear.
