South Korea's Team KAIST wins 2015 DARPA Robotics Challenge (GIZMAG)

An interesting competition, to be sure, 2015's DARPA 'robot'challenge actually featured autonomous behavior, when the radio/remote control was simulated out of service. There were planned tasks & one surprise task, which caught several robots unprepared. I doubt I will live long enough to see the public availability of true robots, such as are featured in science fiction.
