How English sounded 500 years ago...

English sounded quite different in the 16th century. In this YouTube video, a person speaks a poem from that time period with the same dialect and speaking patterns they would've had back then:

John Skelton's "Speke Parott"

You can start hearing the Middle English around the 30 second mark. You can hear familiar words and phrases, but it sounds quite different.
