Windows skipped from 8 to 10, but the Skype meetings don't work that way.
Just in time for the joys of Summer (which include sunburn and grueling heat that would surely melt a person), Skype Meeting 9 is here to bring a bunch of people together to talk about stuff for a few hours. For those who aren't familiar with them, it usually begins with some chatter about Astro Boy related media and news, and then after that anything goes.

While we do have our regulars, anyone is welcomed to join. All that's needed is giving me your Skype contact info.
The meetings are commonly held through voice chat, but Skype IM conversation is allowed too. No video chatting during the meeting. Video chats would lag up the call something fierce.

For those who've done it before, you know the basic drill. Vote for the date (or dates) which is most convenient for you and the day with the most votes is the day the meeting is held.
The poll will go on until the 2nd of July.
As usual, the meeting will go on from 3 to 6 or 7pm Eastern Time. I'd recommend using one of those time zone converter things to match the time with where you live.

Haven't seen you on the forum for a while EO. I was wondering when the next Skype attack would happen.
As the only choices are on Saturdays, it doesn't matter much to me which one, so I voted for them all Guess that doesn't help much, then again, in a tie I suppose you will cast the deciding vote, Mr. V.P.

I could probably attend on any of those four Saturdays, but I'm totally free on July 9th as opposed to the latter three dates.

Windows skipped 9 because some softwares though that "Windows 9" was either Windows 95 or Windows 98 (a string beginning with "Windows 9" in both cases). You will deeply regret not skipping Skype Meeting 9 when we reach "Skype Meeting 95" :d evil:

Hmm. I can probably attend any of them, but my job has been having me work on Saturday evenings quite a bit lately so I am not sure about any of them atm.

Those times for me are 8pm to 11pm or 12am. I will see if I will be available, as sometimes I am called to work with very, very short notice.

Another tie. Had to figure out this one at the toss of a coin as opposed to a random number generator this time around, and the date is the 9th of July.

Let's get back to that once we reach Skype Meeting 95, maybe by then some more footage of the reboot would be available for the public.

Let's not be too generous. It'll probably be Skype Meeting 905 by the time that happens.

Anyway, I had a good time in this Skype Meeting! It was a bit more laid back then some of the other Skype Meetings, but it was still fun!

Attendees this time were: EyeOdyssey (the host), Fafner, Shiyonasan, Earthshine, Rejoyce (in the chat), and a brief special guest appearance by my sister (also in the chat).

I look forward to next time for the milestone that is Skype Meeting 10!

Sorry I missed it. I had a migraine headache and was lying down after taking some headache meds when it started, and after it passed I forgot all about the meeting.

I've also been a bit absorbed flipping though the new book that arrived today, "The Osmau Tezuka Story". First time I've seen a Manga book heavier than some phone books (remember them?).

I was too busy eating dinner (Honey and mustard-glazed gammon with roast potatoes and peas), as it took longer to roast then I had expected (2 hours and 30 minutes), I cook all my meals from scratch. Then my roommate needed me to fix a laptop after. I will try and make the next one!
