We all have a mental list of things we'd like to do, places we'd like to visit, and experiences we'd like to have "Some Day". Some of these desires may be too expensive for us right now, or there may be other reasons why we just don't run out right immediately to enjoy them. Some may also be currently impossible and are waiting for technology, or social acceptance to catch up with reality.
As for travel, I'd like to visit Japan, though Alaska and the American West are also on the list.
As for a unique experience, I recently ran across this site: http://bodypaintingday.org/ and I'd actually like to be one of the models for a future event of that kind. (I'm a straight man, BTW).

I have this silly dream of going on a road trip/rock hunt using this used book from the seventies as a guide. It describes locations in crazy detail and I'm curious about how much has changed since then.
I've already checked off the easier bucket list items like eating ice cream outside while it's snowing. (I felt so rebellious that day.)

I have a friend in Burlington Vermont. The last time I visited him it was in the winter and we went skiing. Anyway, there is an ice cream shoppe in downtown Burlington that reduces it's price by 1 penny for each degree below freezing the outside temperature is. I asked my friend if they every gave the stuff away, he said almost.

I'd like to go to Tokyo Disneyland someday.
One thing I've actually crossed OFF my bucket list finally is to ride on the second level of a two-level carousel. When I was really little, someone gave me a postcard of one and I kept it under glass on top of my dresser. I'd never seen one IRL until two years ago.

Baby, don't let it slip, it's a once in a lifetime ship and it's never gonna come again...
i have been a military history enthusiast for some time, having visited the museum at the US Army Proving Grounds in Aberdeen MD several times. At this time, my one most desired item on my bucket list is:
Tiger 131*, which currently resides in England. It is the only functional member of that particular species of big cats remaining. :d evil:
*Tiger 131 was the star of the film FURY.
