This new prequel is very very good! The color saturation is superior, and the animation is fab!
The ultimate in Cyber Sci Fi.

At present, I bought this on VUDU, expensive but worth it.I bought HDX and watch it on my 4k UHD TV UPSCALED to 4k. It is stunning. :w00t: :astro: : :astro: :astro: :astro: : :astro: :5 Astros out of 5....

I saw the first episode a while ago and I was really impressed. I think it's among the best work in the GitS franchise.

Yes I quite agree! They fixed the dubbed dialogue, and thje asnimation and use of color is way above the earlier series!
I now have all 4 of Arise, but #3 is in Japanese without dub, and has English subs. Beautifully done! $15.00 an episode!!! :lol:

I think I watched this about a year ago; frustrated that I had to look all over for the 2nd and subsequent parts.

Right! And the 3rd and 4th! These art for rent and purchase on Vudu, But some only in Japanese with subs! I now own them all! :D
