That looks pretty cool, but I have a bad feeling it'll end up like other rushed technologies that end up frustrating people. Like when you call a bank and get a speech recognition machine that doesn't understand the word "yes". To be rolling it out in Dubai, rather than somewhere like Japan or South Korea, makes me wonder if it's just a PR stunt to show how advanced their city is.

I agree it seems an unlikely place for such technology to emerge.

Involving robots for police tasks would be great, but not if all that human duties be replaced by robots. It would be scary to imagine.
