I just created a thread in the General area about this very thing.

I did not see any tongue in its mouth, or lower eyelids for it to tug down, so how can it have human-like expressions w/out these?

Oh -- so it can make the traditional Tezuka funny face? -- darn, can't find one now -- where one pulls down the lower eyelids and sticks out their tongue? Yes, well, maybe that comes in Octavia v.20

OMG! When I was little, I was watching one episode of 80's Astro Boy, and one of the girls did that face, and I thought that was the funniest face ever! After that, whenever some stupid, big, fat, boy tried to tease me, I always used to pull down my lower eyelid and stick my tounge out! LOL! I stopped doing it in 5th grade though, when someone said it was retarded. (Pulls down lower eyelid and sticks out tounge at Shawn Brown :mad .

It's okay. I'm used to stuff like that. But one time, I was reading an Astro Boy manga after a test, the teacher left the room, and this one kid named Adam was like, "Shnaiah, I just gotta ask, why is Astro Boy always flying around in his underwear?" That did it! I was so ticked! I gave him an earful, and I pulled down my lower eyelid and stuck out my tounge (first time in about three years). I swear I musta flipped my lid! But like I said, I have been through worse stuff. As for Adam, I say shame on him.
