I'm so excited

Postby MightyAstro » 14 years ago

My lady over in America tells me that she can give me a proposed date for her visit in 2012 by Jan 2011. That's the earliest she can book ahead for that wonderful year. She's saving her money like mad and I'm saving too. We'll be together then and we'll plan our future wedding out.  :w00t:

That's so wonderful!!! Congratulations to both of you.

Is she going to be moving "down under" or will you be joining the party up here (not the best economy right now!)?

I've always wanted to visit Australia, hopefully some day...!

BTW my husband did some illustration work for an Aussie publishing company named Paddlepop Press. They are doing a series of "educational graphic novels" in the style of manga (it's published by Scholastic). It's named Boy vs. Beast -- he got to do develop some gadgets and weapons for the books (he worked on four of them), but didn't get to do covers.

It was cool -- He'd usually work until midnight "our time" so he could interact with the Australian editors until noon "their time" -- talk about telecommuting! :whistling:

Now he's doing animation for NASA!! :w00t:

That's exciting AprilSeven. Good for your husband. :)

The way Michelle and I are thinking I'll be moving to America. Though she says if I ever want to move back "down under" one day she'll be happy with that.

Perhaps we'll be able to meet you and your husband one day? I'd love to talk to him about his work. Michelle and I are writers and we hope to help promote each other's work and even write a book together eventually. :w00t:
Your husband may even be able to illustrate for us.

Hey, the Internet is a great place to make new friends and connections for business - so it's definitely a possibility! Where does Michelle live (I seem to think you said California...?)

She lives in North Canyon Texas. I don't recall whether I mentioned California or not.

I'll check her address on the other forum again, but I'm sure it's North something Texas.

Thank you Andriods. :)

I've just checked her location on her profile and it's actually Ransom Canyon Texas. For some reason I kept thinking of either North Canyon or North Ransom. Perhaps that may have something to do with her personal address in my private address book?

Anyway I do recall that she doesn't actually live in a town. She lives on a property and travels into the nearest town. Perhaps this Canyon Texas you found when you googled might be one and the same as Ransom Canyon Androids my cobber? :)
