My friend said that the only problem with homeschooling is that he can't really see his old friends from school or make any new ones. I haven't talked to him face to face in years. 3 to be exact.

that is not true, i wish people would stop complaining about no making freinds becuase they're homeschooled and to be honest i hate the steriotpyes they make me spit

Well, that's what he says. I bet he still makes friends, but not as much as when he was in public school.

then again i suppose becuase i've been homeschooled since first grade and i never really had the need to have freinds,i've had bad exsperiences with friends

Astronomical, you're partially right friends do cause problems and can give you bad experiences sometimes. For example, one of my friends who used to be my butt-buddy, all of a sudden changed one day and now a whole lot of people think he's a **** bag. But friends also help out a lot, and I mean a lot. They help you feel better when you're feeling down, they'll back you up, they keep you company, they'll loan you money if you need it and give you advice.

Some friends you'll even keep in touch with for the rest of your life.
