Suicide is a very real issue that a lot of people seem to want to avoid nowadays. I think that, because of this, more and more young teens and adults turn to it, not knowing of a way to understand their problems or find people to help them cope with life. Sure, we can all say that they had a good life, but how can we know how they felt? I think that society nowadays needs to learn to let people communicate their feelings and help them to understand that stuff in life is normal, instead of just ignoring them and letting things get out of hand, as society has normally dealt with it.
I have personally had to deal with suicide. I've had a cousin and two friends commit it and several others think about it. I could not help those that fell victim to the urge to take their own lives, but I was able to help those who had considered it. It is very real and we need to be able to be there for those who need us the most.
I am deeply sorry for your loss. I understand how you must feel. But, do not be sad for her. I'm sure she would only want to see you happy. Use what you knew about her and what happens now as a means to help others in the future. Talk with your family and friends about it and use it as a means to show others how much they mean to you. *hugs*
(If I sounded cold at all, I'm really sorry. It's just a subject I've dealt with a lot and I can get kinda critical about it... :d oh: )
