He did until he fought Pluto. Then Tenma bumped him up to 1,000,000 and it was too much for him at first (nearly fried his everloving circuits!)

My understanding is that Ratom is a merging of Atom and Rock into one being (thanks to Black Jack).

Is he a robot? A human? Cyborg? I'm not sure!
