WTF!? Did the Astro Boy manga just go outta print? D:
I was searching for the Astro Boy manga on amazon and well I found volume 22 but it was expensive, like about 23 bucks! Usually if that happens that might mean it went outta print. I really hope it didn't! I need 2 more volumes so I can have the entire series. Come to think of it I asked Mom to get my the last 2 mangas for Christmas but she said she had trouble finding it on amazon. On the other hand the manga could use a little better translations. I'd like to see it printed unflipped and without typos and mistranslations. OMG! Help!
You're not a joke, you fit right in!
So shake it off, and give a grin. Don't be afraid to stand your ground! Crazy, noisy BIZARRE Town!

If it just says "Available from these sellers." that means it's out of print. I'd recommend going at the bottom of the Amazon frontpage and try all their sites from other countries, as some of them store the English volumes as well, maybe it's available in one of them.
The best iterations of Astro Boy are going out of print.
The 1980's series already is, and the manga is slowly becoming affected.

My sympathy goes out to you, Anime Girl. I recently paid $45 for a brand new volume 10. This is why I get steamed with outrageous copyright laws, when the books/dvds aren't even available for purchase at a reasonable price.
Tezuka Pro are you listening . . . we need you to REPRINT!!

Dark Horse doesn't seem to care much that must be it i picked every volume up before they really where starting to go out of print the only volumes i had to get second hand where 8,10 and 22 i think and i also had to pay 35 dollars to get the metropolis manga from them i don't think they ever going to release more tezuka just like Viz that let Phoenix go out of print it's up to Vertical and DMP.
And i din't know Manga entertaiment also let the 1980 astro boy anime go out of print but how cares ? better get the Australian set anyway i have them bouth though.

I think the Himekawa comic may be slowly going out of stock as well, at least last time I checked it on Madman it was.
Don't worry Satus; even if teh manga goes out of print, you can still find used copies for affordable prices if you know where to look. It'll just be unfortunare, especially for people like me who actually prefer to support the actual product iof its still in print.

Nonononono, the Australian set only has the DUB.

I've read it in English already.

Although I just checked anyway, NZ Madman has only volumes 2 and 3. Aussie Madman only has volume 3.

I have the Australian boxset, it really isn't that bad. I get a good laugh out of the extras DVD. Although I was disappointed by the lack of bilingual audio.
