Sorry for the delay, everyone, but I finally managed to make a new one. It's a little jumpy, but hey . . . it's a neat topic.

In addition to being expensive to maintain in terms of jet/rocket fuel and atomic energy, Astro Boy tends to go through a LOT of clothes!! Ever wonder what happens? Look!! I mean, c'mon Astro - you didn't even give them a chance!!

Great job everyone!! I kept changing my mind about which to pick, but that Atlas comment was just too funny to pass up -- Dragonrider, YOU WIN!! and Yes, he looks great in a turtleneck!

Jeffbert - you were a close second place! Now that I have the (American) box set from the 60's it really is funny to see how often Astro busts out of his "civilian clothes" like this. If I ever get to collect a few, I'll string them together and we can have a good laugh!

Great! I want more people who have the B&W, so we can talk about it. BTW, I believe it was in THE CHRONICLES where it was noted that robots needed special clothing because of their exoskeletons.
