A little hard to make the connection with the first scene but keep watching and Im sure you'll recognise the voice.......my challenge is:

Man, he sounds so familiar but I can't place it exactly! His IMDb page lists him as having worked on Astro Boy (1980) but not which part. This is going to nag at me until I know.

Ok Ill get the ball rolling (just to give a bit of a hint)

1st Character: Ahbra 'Its already taken care of Sultan, Ive placed a suicide bomb in his body. If he loses a fight the bomb will destroy both him and his enemy'

Another hint: The White Planet and Robio and Robiette

Not sure if thats more of a giveaway rather than a hint lol

Ok Ill throw it out there again, lets all try and find examples of our wonderful voice actors on youtube. To answer my previous question, Greg North voiced Robio (robio and robiette, Ahbra from Worlds Strongest Robot, Conrad from the White Planet and Im pretty sure the main leader on the shuttle that gets briefly stranded on the planet where Ivan lives .... y'lnow the guy who asks 'Why do you have a pistol?'

I just finished watching the 1980s series, barrow it from my sisters boyfriend, the voice was familiar but I couldn't put my finger on it, I did notice that some of the characters were voiced be the same person.

This is a great "puzzler" Fotar! I checked my '80's box set booklet, and Googled around, but can't find much that says which eps he was in . . . guess we're going to have to build our own data base. I bet Jay Rath could help out with this!

Hey thanks for the compliment I really take my hat off to these voice actors because they have to really use the power of their emotions to get their message across (since they themselves) can't use visual clues to do do. Gregory north was on a few and he must have been young as he doesn't seem that 'old' nowadays. I'm gonna get in contact with his agent and, with permission from our moderators) ask if he'd like to contribute from time to time. Ok I'm off to see if I can spot him again!!!

Great idea!! As a moderator, I don't see any problem with that. Astro Forever and Vergere are the admins, so they would have final say . . . it would be great to have more folks really involved "behind the scenes" visit here from time to time.

My dream would be to have Fred Schodt and Alan Ladd log on!!

Very nice finding, I totally recall hearing him in the series, but I don't think I've watched it in a year or so, I just can't place my finger on it...

Perhaps Gen's father in "Save the Carolina 3"? There are others though, I'm sure I'll remember some of them later.
