A ThinkPad R60. It runs Kubuntu.

you should have the gimp already installed I think, under graphics.
If not then use menu/system/software manager and search for gimp.

also do a search for flash or flashplayer

@Penguin: Actually, I saw this on deviantART a long time ago. Now I finally get to use it! Although, I don't like how my small screen squashes the picture.

here is an idea, there is a setting that will scale your images with out distorting them.

you should know this as you have set your wallpaper

these are the scaling options avalible to users on most linux desktops.

what you want is either scaled & cropped or scaled, keep proportions

scaled just stretches the image by whatever it has to to fill the screen and may distort it

centered and tiled are just like windows

center tiled tiles the image but does it from a centered image rather then starting in the corner of the screen like tiled does.
