:blush: I found it! It goes from (the white portion of) page 200 last para through 201 1st para. I had created an index of this book, but somehow omitted any reference to this! :blush: Tezuka was embarrassed about both the :astro: & Vampires live-action programs, & would not speak of them at the C/FO meetings (or, I assume, anywhere else). They had to show him pictures & articles just to get him to admit these even existed!

Your welcome! I believe what one must remember is that with genius comes great ego and in the case of Tezuka, his main reason for not liking something is that he feels he can do better. (Or if something is good or better than what he has done, he will criticize it because he do not do it; which is why he does not like it. Case in point "The Beast from 20 Fathoms.")
