I know. I identify with it too.
I had an idea for a fan fiction that I told AprilSeven about in a PM. I looked into the future when Astro was old and gray and wondered how he would age. I saw him as a grown man (I've figured out how to work that into the story) and even for him to have had a family. My idea was a sad story, it takes place during a funeral. Every now and then I think about how to write it, and that picture just sparked the idea again.

That certainly is an interesting story plot. I know a lot of people like to imagine Atom 'growing up' into a young man but it's rare that they make the leap to an old man. Why not?

There was actually a character in the Megaman Zero games that was a robot that chose to age because he got married to a human woman and did not want to make her feel jealous of him not aging. It was such a bittersweet story as the woman eventually passed on.

You find inspiration in the most unexpected places.

It's a combo workshop, computer lab, ham shack, storage room, and a mess.
At my age I'm glad I still have my hair, you can see the lock combed down to cover a receding hair line. If the photo isn't too sharp, blame it on my el-cheapo webcam.
