I need help on Astro boy omega factor!

So, I'm in the middle of playing astro boy omega factor for the gba on my game boy advance emulator and I'm currently stuck on Black Jack's house. I tried to follow a walkthrough of it, but it didn't tell me how to get an upgrade for my hyper sensors.
I've tried everything! I need some help please.

You get upgrades when you meet characters, so it sounds like you need to find some more. You can recheck past events for hints on where they might be.

I played through that game a few years ago... If I remember correctly F-Man is right, you need to back track.

I also remember that the level of Black Jack's house being a touch frustrating on normal even, so it could be that you just need to keep at it.

I know that I'm suposed to meet people to get power ups, but I can't find another person that I haven't talked to yet. The last person I talked to was kennedy before I got to black jack's house and something told me that I should have upgraded my hyper sensors.

lol. Wait a second... It turns out this thread is pointless now... lol. I just found jetter mars inside of a wall in astro vs. atlas. I just got an actual copy of the game today and I started out by upgrading my abilities in order. Now all I have to do is find him on the emulator version.
