I think my favourite episodes would have to be "Atlas Forever" and "Blackie Young". Atlas Forever is a favourite because it was great to see Atlas acknowledged Astro as his brother, albeit a brief moment before he crashed the Crystal Castle into the aliens base. The look on Astro face afterwards and as he screamed "No" into the vast, empty space was hearbreaking. For so long, the brothers have fought each other. When they finally reconciled, the moment passed too quickly.

With Blackie Young, the most touching moment was at the end when Daddy Walrus touched Blackie gently on the shoulder and said: "Blackie, go say hello to your mother", and then the embrace between mother and son soon after. I had tears in my eyes watching that scene. Sound funny for somebody watching a cartoon, but I don't shed tears watching cartoons easily.

The English voice dubs are very well done. I love it. I now have the entire 80s series on DVDs in my collection

Every time I think about that story, I cannot help but dislike the 2003 becuase it gave Atom no parents.

My favorite 80s was, is, & forever will be, The Violent Gang Gadem. The dog crossing himself was just 1 of the great visual gags that made that my favorite ep. 2nd place is Uran & Uran with the cutest song & dance!
