I finally did it.

I joined a gym. I've been talking about it for months that I had to start exercising and maybe join a gym. Then my Brother basically said "Either join a club or shut up."

It's one thing to actually join a club, it's another to actually go regularly... and not quit after 3 months. ;) Congratulations! :w00t: But I also wish you good luck! :D

There is no way I'd even join one unless I had somebody to go with me. I just know I wouldn't last very long by myself. I discovered a few years ago that the best way to remain active was to choose an activity that I really enjoyed doing, so I didn't have to tell myself "well now is time to exercise". I don't even feel like I'm out of breath or that my muscles are working hard, because I just enjoy what I'm doing so much! :w00t: My sport is skating, both on ice and on wheels! :) I also stretch a bit at home. It wouldn't be a bad thing to do a few push-ups and sit-ups either.

Maybe if I stick with it I might go paintballing again. Then I might not feel like an old man on the field.

And they say sport is good for health :shifty:
As Churchill answered when asked how he could live so old: "The sport. Never do sport." Hopefully, thanks to that, I will never break anything :p
*OUCH!* I broke a finger   I'm doomed
The real sign that someone has become a fanatic is that he completely loses his sense of humor about some important facet of his life. When humor goes, it means he's lost his perspective.

Well it's been a month and a half now. I've been going to the gym at least 4 times a week. The exercising is going good. Now all I need to do is stop eating all the junk food. That’s the hard part. I’m a potato chip junkie.
