I love that scene, and I just found exactly what I like about it.

In the whole series, the bear is the only character to address Tenma's inner despair: "Poor Tenma, you must really feel alone here!" (as I heard it in French).

And at the same time, the above frame is hilarious to watch. Well done!

I think it is called a narguile (not sure of the writing). The final 'e' pronounce like the first 'e' in "message".
