[Strange Wings]

i replied to one of them on youtube.i think it was the "love tunel" one:

well,a few bit repeated,and the music ended to soon...but who cares,a lot of scenes in this where cute and funny.not bad ;]

The repeated footages were intended since I wanted having certain scenes appeared consistently within the chorus, e.g. the opening's excerpt I used for the line "...and I'm just high on this world..." where Astro's standing in front of the town with his arms outstretched. Also at the line"...on the tunnel of love..", of course, he's flying through a tunnel (taken from the opening too); and at the line "...rockaway, rockaway..." it's the scene where he's just taking off from Outer Spaceport R45 (I thought the words were kinda similar with "..rocket away, rocket away...", so I went for that.

That one was fun to do, I guess that's because I've had a hard time finishing it right as the music fades out. I just kept going on with adding some further excerpts till I finally came across the ending scene of 'The Greatest Robot In The World Pt.2', thus, the video's running quite a minute longer than the music.
I've found myself exchanging plenty of DVDs till the thing was done. :d oh:

Plus the video's lacking on quality. I'd rather not tell you about the way I recorded it, you might be ROFL.

At first I was wondering how it could work to Astro/Atlas so I checked the lyrics. However, all the first paragraph is working very well (except for maybe two lines: I don't think Atlas cares about having a key to get into Astro's house, he'd probably do it à la Devil King! ). The clip would have to take place after Atlas came back after Atlas Forever!

Well, at least the line "...and so you're back from outer space... " would be closest to associate with their relationship.

I guess it's also depending on who's performing the song - Atlas or Astro.
I can remember only one sad looking face of Atlas. This being somewhere in 'The Crystal Of The Desert.

I really saw it from Astro's point of view. Astro's the one living on earth, and Atlas is the one who sporadically comes "back from outer space"!

I could create a special edit of the song to keep only what fits! :d evil:

Yeah, or let's change the lyrics first! But I think we need to get in touch with Mrs Gaynor because of some copyright reasons.
However, the music style definitely would fit to the 80's series.

Well, I haven't changed the song, therefore I don't think I need to ask Mr. Knopfler about anything. Except he might have a problem with that he's flying around with jets in his legs, flying in person through tunnels without having any guitar in his hands.

Oh, I see... but as far as I know the laws around here (I'm certainly not a lawyer), I don't take it would make its use any more or less legal one way or another.

I do own the song legally (actually, my mom do... I don't hate it but go figure why, the original isn't my favorite version of it!).
