It's going to have a running story with different episodes.
It'll have a lot of classic adventures and some new ones as well, especially if they were censored out of American versions.
By the by, I learned from Jeffbert that Bulbo was in the 60's anime, he just wasn't featured in America because he was one of those censored out.

Ah so that's why i thouth he never apeared in the anime, he's truely a cool character , but it was obvious Tezuka wanted to confront the issue of how black people were treated with Bulbo.

Well I think they took it all the wrong way. They called it racist and cut it out.

Darn...and lets not forget Hollywood around that time still had a big issue with black people on tv

Yeah. It's really not fair.
People shouldn't see each other as "white people" or "black people". Humans are humans. Period.

hmmm can you tell me anything a bit about how your going to do Nuka and Rag's past?

[Daichi]

Well, I'll try to make it as spoiler-free as possible, after all both have several secrets about their origins.
I decided to make Nuka's father a character who isn't strictly an Astroboy character. She attends school with Astro and seems very normal, but no one's ever seen her caretaker. That makes Astro curious, but he doesn't push the issue until around chapter eight or so.
(The chapter numbers aren't set in stone because five extra chapters are being added and that might screw the order. So sorry if I get the number wrong.)

As for Rag... Ooo, I'm proud of how his past turned out!
Damn, I could just sit here and ruin the whole thing for you. X3
Let me just say that Rag is in some way related to Deadcross, and that Mr. Hamper, Rag's secretary, has seen a complete revamp from the anime and is not what he may at first seem.

how are you going to devlop the bond between Atlas and Astro?

Well, they don't really start getting along until after their last confrontation.
Things start to go from there, thanks to Astro doing something kind for Atlas that has a huge impact on him.
But even when they develop a bond with one another, something terrible happens that changes everything.

I don't know exactly what to say without spoiling everything! XP
