Sad to say but after two days talking to old friends around Yokosuka, that seems to be a nice urban myth. Discipline really has fallen among the troops. Me thinks the commanders have become too timid thanks to the infestation of "P/C" and "touchy feely goody" in the past 15 years.

They should bring back taking these young pups to Shuri Prison in Yokosuka and show them what will happen if they screw up. An American will learn how to be Japanese real quick.
