What s the reason you choose your Avatar?

Hmm. I'm making my avatar right now, so i used by BABV character for a substitue while I make it.
My siggie I found on PhotoBucket, and thought it was too cute to resist.

I was looking at a thread on this forum a while ago and found some animated pics of the 1980s astro boy. This one stood out.................. because he is jump roping with a snake! found it funny lol. poor robot snake.
