Can Astro ride a horse? Heck, he won a jousting tournament and was offered the princess' hand in marriage (But he turned it down because he's a robot and had to get back to the 21st century!!)

BTW -- he's SIR Astro here. This episode has some gaping holes in continuity (Elefun's lab is located on the site of an obviously European castle? hmmmmm). I don't care - it was one of my favorites! I think of it as an Astro Boy "chick flick!" BTW he does some sharp shootin' with those butt guns too!

The other "girlfriend" I haven't seen mentioned here yet is Angelica from Angel of the Alps (episode 85). In this one, Astro has to disguise himself as a human, so he uses his "human name" (Astor Boynton -- this is the US 1960's series). Angelica gives AB her necklace (which contains important info) as it was meant for her to give to a man she'd meet some day would be "an angel" -- oh, yeah -- chick flick number two! Notice how they kind of made him look more grown up, too (taller).

Awww that's cute! He's lookin' like he's kinda bored though, doesn't he? Guess if you can FLY, why ride a wooden horse in a circle? XD

Being a horse-lover this would have been an episode I'd enjoy -- but this is one of Japanese-only episodes, right? bummer....

Hope someday someone could translate and offer them with subtitles.

Don't let the let of color put you off -- the original version has something to it the others don't -- even though the American version was edited, there is an originality to it that is very engaging.
