...Now that I think of it, this was translated by a group of people who called two obvious characters "Tenba" and "Tea Water". It may have been a translation error (and there's only four instences of he/his/him used).

About Denkou, I had read somewhere that he/she was female in the Japanese version and male in the English one (as well as other versions such as French). Or maybe it was the other way around, I must say I am losing ground on this one

Denkou looks like a girl, acts like a girl, and gets carried by Astro at the end like a cute girl.

This reminds me a deal of RockMan's Serenade, who is female but keeps getting translated as male...
