I LOVE ASTRO BOY myself and i guess i want to believe everyone else does too- but knowing how poor a good movie like ASTRO BOY'S did in the United States i know most people do not- i love coming here and thanks everyone for your replies - besides my feminine mind does not think logically- oh girl!

At the risk of being mauled, the movie didn't do poorly because of people not liking Astro Boy, it did poorly...because it was...a bad movie...uhem...

Merh, It wasn't so much a bad movie as it seemed like a failure in comparison to the true Astro Boy. I might be being too critical, but it seemed like a lot of people dropped the ball on it...*sigh* And yet I still buy the merchandise...

I found the film had a lot of potential that was tossed aside (and massacred, oh how it was massacred) and several moments that defied basic human and sequential logic that jarred me out of the little suspension of disbelief I had at those specific points in the film. But that's a discussion for another topic.

I'm going to reiterate that I think people don't register here because they're lurkers. ;P
