How did you decide/get your avatar?

Well I'm constantly changing mine. Sometimes its how I feel and sometimes its something I'm into (like my red dragon that I have right now) and sometimes it is just something I thought was cool.

I chose mine from a screen shot from the CG film since CG images are easier to work with. I don't even like the CG film that much.

Ah... I change mine time to time on what anime I can bother getting a picture of.

I would change mien to something to do with Saint Seiya since I'm crazy about that Anime but this is a Astro Boy forum. I think I'm going to change my signature and Avatar some time soon.

I got mines because I'm a miku fan. (I also think she's cute!^^) I'm kinda interested of finding an animated gif of Hatsune Miku singing in one of her live concerts. But I think I'll keep it like this, since someone said that it was cute!
The only reason why I'm not using an atom avatar is because I don't wanna seem like I'm obssesed with it or anything. (I'm not saying like everyone else is who has atom avatars are obssesed with it! I just want to show what else I'm in to besides astro boy.)

I've changed mine a few times, and probably will again. I started with a basic screen shot of Astro from the 60's b&w series. Then I found a nice 3D wall paper with an image of Astro flying. I cut out just the image of him without any background, inverted the image (so he was flying into the screen instead of out of it. Of course that also inverted his cowlicks, but DH and even MP get those inverted here and there). Then I found an image that Astro Forever did with Astro as a graying senior, that struck a cord with me. She added glasses on it for me and that's what I have now.

I like to see homemade or edited avatars from other users because it shows that they're expressing themselves! *Like when Miley Cyrus changed her hair style so she wouldn't be called Hannah Montanna anymore for example.*

My old one was the monochrome inner detail work of the Right Stuf box sets for the 1960s Astro Boy. I really liked the bright red heart among the tangle of gray wiring.

Buuut... Now I have Bem because I really like the character and his story is my favorite among all the adventures that Atom has been in. It has all the elements in it that grab my mind's attention.

That and... SPARKLES! Tetsuwan Penguin made it.

And, as for my signature because someone asked me what the heck was going on with it... It's Nightwing and Damian from DC Comics (Batman). It's actually an animated gif where they are goofily dancing but it's too big for this site.
