THOUGH IT 1ST APPEARED IN SNOW LION.

SNOW LION is the 52nd episode of the B&W series; the entire sequence of Uran skipping along with the Star & placing it on the tree is from that episode, & reused several times in later episodes. Cpme to think of it, this sequence may be the longest of all the reused sequences in the entire series. That is, several clips were used and reused whenever appropriate. One such clip is a crowd fleeing in a mad panic. That is probably the most frequently reused clip.

Hi, Jeffbert! Merry X-mas! Happy Holidays and Happy New Year! The image is from one of the first Astro Boy memorablia I ever purchased; a set of postcards which I now know feature covers from the Mighty Atom Club magazine. The one in particular is from the December, 1964 issue.

But speaking of "The Snow Lion", it is one of two Christmas episodes from the original series that were dubbed into English. (The other is "The Wonderful Christmas Present"!) As you know "TSL" first aired in Japan on Christmas Eve, 1963 and "TWCP" (Astro Boy Episode#91) aired Dec. 26, 1964. I make it a tradition to watch both episodes at Christmas time each year.

So again to all my astrobuddies out there--Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and a very Happy New Year!
