I figured it, but they're still characters not present in the 2003 series.
Btw, it's me or there was a classmate with a similar design of Midori in the 1960s?

Cobalt's origin differs from the manga in the B&W series; in manga, Ochanomizu created Cobalt when it seemed that Atom had run away, & an H-bomb was at the bottom of the ocean, ticking away. Though Cobalt was not up to the task of disarming it, he was able to locate Atom because of their similarities. Thus, in this world, Cobalt was necessary.

The B&W version of that story obviously did not use the same plot, as Cobalt had been a prototype for Atom.

I still consider Cobalt useless and unecessary for any new shows.
His existence would create more conflict between the characters since he would simulate Atom's power and Uran would be even more jealous of the both.
And I don't think they would need another Atom-look-a like in the family regardless if he was dumb with comical mischief. If Atom was lost somewhere, then they could make Uran being able of finding him or even use a aly like Epsilon (if they allowed the character to be repaired if defeated by Pluto for example) or even Atlas (in case Atlas changed his ways) to do the job.
No wonder why Naoki Urasawa did not mentions of his existence in Pluto.
Also, that guy was played by Atom's previous dad?

If so, after failing as a parent figure, he became a corrupted character, lol
